Who would have thought Kindergarten would make such a difference? She's been in school for less than a month, and already she seems so much more grown up.
She's serious about her "homework," eager to "read" to us (and not doing too bad, either) and planning a busy social schedule of play dates and sleepovers.
And definitely letting me know that she doesn't need me quite so much anymore.
I'm proud of her, and a little sad, too. And I'm preparing myself for the day when she doesn't even want to acknowledge my existence anymore.
